Thanks Anne, it seems like full speed ahead all of a sudden, the medical requests landed on the doormat this morning! Anyone got any tips or advice for the Medicals?

- Take extra (4) passport photos in case you are asked for them. You may not be, but we were.
- Make sure the medical request forms from CIC have your photos on and they have been stamped (part over the photo, part over the page) by CIC and that you take them on the day!
- Take your passports as proof of ID. You will be asked for them and the medical practitioner will compare those with you and your documents.
- On X-Ray we were also asked to show our passports.
- Don't pee 5 minutes before your medical.. or you'll be waiting for ages

and the same as James says above and it's really not as stressful as you think so try and stay calm to keep the blood pressure normal lol
There's quite a few people posted about their experiences during their medicals so have a search in this forum and also I posted about my experience a good few pages back in this thread.

Just on our way back from coutts after landing to activate our pr. Dealt with by a lovely immigration officer who wished us luck and took our photo for us.....much to the embarrassment of my children......

Hi everyone
Sorry for having been AWOL on this thread but we went through a bit of a hellish time answering further medical requests. Saying that, CHC have been absolutely fantastic. Very approachable and helpful.
So today, we received our COPRs by email.
We're absolutely flabbergasted. I feel numb, it's not sunk in yet.
I wish everyone else much luck for a speedy positive outcome.

Well we got our COPR and went to the US for the day and came back to do the landing part 
(very easy).
As I travel for business a lot I asked about re entry whilst waiting for the PR card, the border agent Saunders that this was not possible as the COPR was not for travel purposes..... It seems that if I travel now while waiting I may be denied boarding at the airport.
Has any one had this same experience?? Also to every one else make sure you do not need to travel for 6 weeks after landing!

Our timeline has been - application received 7th Dec 2011, PER 15 th Feb, In process 18th June, Med requsts 23rd Aug. Meds done 28th Aug, additional forms and police cert request 2nd Oct (returned 9th Oct). Now waiting again!
