Finally we have an Operational Bulletin on the subject:

It states among other things - If the program of study is two years or more, the student would be eligible for a three-year PGWP
So, now we know that duration of PGWP for eligible study programs of at least 2 years will be 3 years from now on, without geographical or occupational restrictions.

Quick question: Does an Open Permit by definition imply that a job offer is not required to obtain the permit? I ask because the amendments in the link did not specifically mention anything about eliminating that requirement (whereas the press release had).
