Default THE ***************

Hi

we are thinking to using The *************** to get us to Canada.

Is there anyone out there that is using them or knows anything about them?

Cheers!

************* indicate that company either requested BritishExpats to black out their name or it is BE blacking it out on their own under the threats of lawsuit from company. Why? Too much criticism maybe? Let your imagination run wild...

Anyway - I don't care what ************ stands for, but you should know that if you want to hire professional to assist you in the Canadian immigration process then s/he must be an authorized representative himself or herself:

Not an agent or any company claiming "association" with authorized representative.

Your retainer/contract should be signed directly with authorized representative, you must be given all contact information to such and be able to communicate directly (not through an agent) and you should pay to the authorized representative, not to the agent.

Hello, Beavis 10, and welcome to the BE forum.

Please read this thread, where a similar matter recently was discussed.

Before you do anything else, I strongly recommend that you read the three articles in the ***MUST READ-Canada*** section of the Wiki.

Really, you ought to make a pot of tea on the weekend, and read two whole sections of the Wiki, namely, Job Hunting-Canada and Canadian Immigration.

In my opinion, it would be unwise to spend a cent or commit to spending a cent until you've familiarized yourself with the process and the issues.

You may think that you can make the whole thing blow away by hiring someone else to take care of the details. If that's what you think, you are mistaken. Even if you hire someone else, there's still a heap of paper that you are going to have to assemble. They can't do it for you.

Hope that helps.
