Default Vaccination non residents

I understand that it is possible to get vaccinated without being a resident. Cost apparently 200€. Location Sopron, Health centre.
Since there is no chance to get a jab in Austria in the near future I seriously consider a trip to Hungary. Sinovac is better than no vaccination.
I would be grateful for advice.

There was a recent story about a company in Hungary taking reservations for private vaccinations for 5000 ft, that was just the reservation fee, it turned out they did not have any vaccine and did not know when they were going have any available. I think the goverment has told them to return the money they were hold to the people that had already paid the reservation fee.

I've just seen an item on the news that Serbia were giving away vaccines to anyone who turned up. Apparently they had many more jabs than applicants so they opened it up and they even got people from western Europe turning up. But I'm not sure how long it will be before they run out - judging by the numbers of people shown on the TV - not very long

I'm watching this closely. I'm happy to pay if only choice.

From what I've read any Hungarian citizen or resident who hasn't got a TAJ card will be vaccinated if they wish after everyone who registered for vaccination has been done.

Yes, I have had an email, stating when everybody with a Taj card has been vaccinated. They will then offer it to us that don't have a Taj card. Free of charge. But it may be a long wait. It has has been said there should be no charge in the whole of Europe. As vaccines are free and being made available for everyone.

Tks for replying. The lady who gave me the info was vaccinated by arrangement of her dentist in Sopron.
