Whilst tractoring in the fields this afternoon I was accompanied by 2 storks following the tractor picking up supper

On Easter "our" pair of storks appeared too - occupying their nest in the center of the village again.
And this week the weather is great for working in the garden.

Our little tomcat has been giving us a present every morning - a dead little mouse ...

Yep!
Already had three weekend garden parties.
Cut the grass twice.
Kids have killed most of the early flowers playing with the football.

Peter myself growing up in a Farming Area and myself working at start Farming leave in school at Ester time in 1962 although before then helping out on farms around home the most memorable time was when Ploughing more so late Autumn when the morning time winds drove the smell of fresh ground being Ploughed it's a smell one can't describe so earthly and clean to see that it attracted so much birds to scurrying for food and always near by the Robin sitting there for it's turn digger47
