Glad to hear your place is finished.
I'm not sure if in a year's time our new roofed terrace will still be looking so smart!
Annoyingly, in one other area where we have cladding part has fallen off for the third time.
We're also waiting for the builders to come back to rectify rain getting between the wall and roof! It's three weeks plus now since we informed them.

If they need to come back to repair any defect, I only have to tell my friend Gabi who will get her mum who lives next door to the builder to nag him!

One issue we had during the hot months when there was no wind it became quite hot sitting outside. Sometimes there might be a breeze but it's coming from the north and with the end fully covered the breeze isn't getting through. Any suggestions? Thought get someone to make a little door at top right so air can circulate when needed.

Thought get someone to make a little door at top right so air can circulate when needed.
How about a ceiling fan or even just a regular electric fan? Get the right one and you should be good.
