Oranges (oil company)

Not sure if others on here have made use of Oranges or even know about the place. I certainly didn't before today. Maybe I am just a bit slow.

I just found this fuel place today in Zalaegerszeg while looking for some building stuff there.

Its nothing more than a roof over a couple of pumps. No shop. No air. No water. Completely un-staffed. There is petrol and diesel fuel. I assume its all the cheaper type of fuel and no V fuel or whatever. Diesel is 325.9F a liter and petrol 338.9 (for 95 octane).

It works on a pre-paid system and the pump simple stops pumping at your pre-paid amount. It took me a few minutes to work through the system and there is an English setting.

Most interesting.

They have regular ads on facebook but I haven't used them yet - too far away. But their price looks good!

As I am not on FB I just had a look at their website. Found here: Rólunk | Orange Oil

The place is certainly not as celebrous as the website makes out that is for sure.

From my bit its about the same distance to Zalaegerszeg as it is to Heviz/Keszthley. The coffee at Cafe Relax in Heviz or that at The Coffeeshop Company in Keszthely and Illy Kavezo in Zalaegerszeg are on par with one another.
Of course the pretty girls would not have anything to do with it.

Back to the fuel. I actually dont know what the price of diesel is at the one and only fuel station nearby. I will check tomorrow if going past.

Thanks, GBA77!
Just looked at their homepage - the price for S95 is 337 HUF in Zalaegerszeg, here in Keszthely the cheapest price today was 344 - so they're really cheaper.

Btw in Austria you see more of these unmanned gas stations, usually cheap too:
There's one not too far from the Hungarian border in Fürstenfeld - coming from Körmend/Heiligenkreuz on the first roundabout after the railway crossing.
