Rural Hungary

At the weekend I mentioned to a friend that we hadn't had the April monsoon (long story). Having noticed that early/mid April usually means strong winds and downpours, I hoped this year would be different. Spoke too soon! Today we had the rain, albeit for a hour or so and the winds, again, not for long but strong enough that it blew one set of windows into the other resulting in a shower of glass all over the living room. Lesson learnt, in April, as soon as the wind picks up - lock the windows.
