Nice chap, met him & his Wife at a wine tasting when he first arrived. He certainly made a great impression on Hungarians. Perhaps he'll donate me his language gene!

I didn't realize he started in the job in 2016 so from a language learning point of view he's done pretty well. Or impressive is a better description.

He did a 6 month intensive course before taking up his post and carried on from there. He found Hungarian harder than Japanese, which tells you something! Clearly has a gift for languages.
