Summer job in Balatonfured
Hi
My colleague and I own a couple of properties in Balatonfured which we rent out on short term let's 2-14 days over the summer June - August 2019. We are looking for someone to manage these..ie.
meet and hand over keys on arrival.
Collect keys on departure, clean flats and prepare for next guests. The apartments are high quality so cleaning is usually about 3 hours.
We would ideally want a Hungarian with good English, able to work independently, be fairly switched on and very reliable. I'm thinking it would suit a student.
we could offer accommodation for them during this period. Pay would be negotiable depending on accommodation and obviously the job won't be very demanding.
Does anyone have any ideas where I may find such a person or suggestions where to advertise? Or even if they know a person or agency who could do this.

Hi Darren. You could try contacting estate agents in the area to see if there are any professional management companies in the area. I would be surprised if they didn’t know someone seeing as the number of apartments being built in the area has increased over the last few years. Alternatively I used to work at a school in Balatonfured which teaches English so any of their students would be able to communicate with you. However it seems a bit early to be thinking about next summer, I am not sure any of them would commit at the moment. In addition there is a shortage of seasonal workers now so it seems to me that the good ones can pick and choose.
I think maybe contact estate estate agents in the first instance and see what their advice is and how other owners manage their properties here.
By the way nice place to own some property!
