Default Hungarian Vaccination Passport to nowhere!

Not quite .... only Serbia and Montenegro recognises the Hungarian vaccination passport if the vaccination is either the Russian or Chinese version. EMA have yet to approve either so travel to other EU countries will be restricted until they have been approved.
This means anyone offered either will have to decide whether to accept or reject them.
Funny thing friends, husband and wife, both had different vaccination!

Considering some 9 million people mainly in China and countries like the UAE have been vaccinated with the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine, I think it's highly unlikely it won't be recognised on international vaccination certificates considering the EU and UK's tourist industry is heavily dependant on tourists from China and the Arab states.

Did you choose the vaccination or was it chosen for you to match your blood group?

No, we didn't get to choose, it was allocated, and not by blood group or any other medical criteria, save, maybe, for age (we are just either side of one of the age divisions).

Our teacher has just received her government issued immunity certificate. They are being issued automatically to those registered.

To be pedantic they are issued automatically after the vaccination is given not when the person registers

Its not quite a passport to nowhere, Croatia now accept the vaccination passports and as various categories of places in Hungary unlock it seems that you will need to show the vaccination passport to enter.

Sorry, you are quite right, not pedantic at all - very important point!
