The google street view car was spotted in Zalaegerszeg so it looks like, at least in the larger towns, street view will be available soon :thumbsup:

Great news. The pictures Google Maps use for the satellite view are quite old I think so maybe the Balatan in due for an upgrade!

I can't see the street view car comming up our muddy track - but maybe!

Yes, the ones for our village are from 2006, would be nice to see them updated! Can't see them coming to our village either as we recently discovered it isn't even on many maps :huh: Surprising, considering it's historic significance during the Ottoman war and the number of nobility who used to reside here. Perhaps I can petition Google to send the street view car!

I've been racking my brains as to exactly where I saw it but it definitely wasn't Eger so it must have been in or around one of the villages as the only places I've visited in the last couple of weeks have been Eger and numerous small villages within a 30km radius.
