People breath in dirty vehicle fumes, drink dirty water, pass by smelly (god knows what) dustbin lorries, eat unfresh food and so on but still live. In other words, if the scientists, etc think the liver and lungs are not capable of doing a good job, we would all be dead before we reached 7 years old.

Re: Firewood
Not too much OT:
Just read in our local adverising the prices for firewood - around 18 000 HUF per cubic meter, depending on the type of wood. Having it cut into 25 or 33 cm is just 1000 HUF more expensive per cubic meter than getting 1 m logs. The prices include tramsport to your garden. |

Logs are normally sold by the 'forestry cubic meter' which measures 1m x 1m x 1.7m Cut up firewood is usually sold by the cubic meter which as you would expect is 1m x 1m x 1m. but then is the cubic meter stacked or thrown into a 1m3 box because there is a lot of difference between stacked and thrown in when it comes to the amount you get for the volume. |

Re seasoned wood:
We let the wood for our kandallo rest at least one and a half years. Re measuring the volume: Have to confess that I haven't looked at this - relied on my neighbour's advice thatthe price was good. |
Re: Firewood
I had a load of wood delivered for my trip in October to use in the new wood oven, I only have a small cottage but if heated the whole place and didn't need to use my electric panels at all. Toasty!
