But .... I had a shock recently ... one of my NHS colleagues daughter decided she wanted to live as a boy. My colleague after overcoming this bombshell decided to embrace it. She has said her "son" is much happier.

But we are in Hungary where luckily PC doesn't weigh quite so heavily on society
I come from a time of Andy Pandy, Noddy, Big Ears, Mr plod etc. Not to mention Bill and Ben with weed and the rest of them on black and white BBC TV.
Oh and talking of Black and White - what ever happened to the Black and White minstrel show also on non-coloured BBC TV.

Am I going to get booted off this forum?

Probably not, as those who would object are not actually moderators.

Re: Fire Safety, Fire Extinguishers ....
I have 4 exits, only the door with direct street access is locked and the key stays in position, so a short crawl will get me out of the house.
But now I have read this thread I am seriously considering what other precautions I should consider.
Especially considering how slow to respond the local fire fighters are. Thankfully there do not seem to be many instances of house fires near me, but the few that there have been have resulted in total destruction of the property.
So it would seem wise to take a few simple precautions.

One thing bugging me is we leave all the internal doors open all day and night. Only occasion we shut our bedroom door is when the dogs come into the house with muddy paws!
There's no door for the kitchen and it's now becoming an urgent issue to fix!
