Hi Rural it is going well and we are loving it, the work early in the morning and late in the evening takes some getting used to.
Back in UK at moment loading up the van which has been a bit of a culture shock after a few months in Hungary comming back to UK you realise how unhelpful ignorant and selfish some Brits have become
speaking of culture shock after days of locals teaching hubby a few words and phrases we were in tesco at checkout hubby all armed and ready ish and the lad says "would you like me to speak english?" think my OH was ready to adopt him or something

I got about 403 today at an OTP machine. When I bought my house in Spring 2011 I was getting just over 300 so now is a much better time to buy a house in Hungary.

I have never managed to get the rates quoted on the internet, even using currency brokers. It is still worth shopping around though when changing a big amount. When I bought the house in Croatia I was taking money out of a CIB Forint account and buying Kuna. If I had accepted the rate offered by CIB the house would have cost me about 8% more than with using a currency broker.

Hi all.

As you will see I have removed several posts from this thread.

That is out of respect to Digger47. He is right. It is not allowed to promote or advertise on the BE open forums. Either in posts , with usernames or even avatars.

Thanks.
