Thanks Duztee, will check the local store. Their baked beans were a miss but the mint sauce, cheese and crisps were worth the trip.

Re: English week at Lidl
I looked today but didn't find any English food.
Edit: just noticed the dates, I had not expected the week to start on Thursday!

Thankyou fid!!
I started the thread and put the dates, did that stop me from going first thing tuesday morning? NO it did not!
Like you it was only when I didn't find anything english that I thought about the date!
Oh well, guess we will be at the front of the queue TOMORROW.

Re: English week at Lidl
LOL - 8 O'Clock tea, English Tea Time, 5 O'Clock tea ... always thought 5 O'Clock was English Tea Time!
Seeing all this English food I'm gonna be gutted if my Hungarian relatives don't have a tea bag each for my 8 O'Clock, English Tea Time and 5 O'Clock!
Packaging for Hatherwood cheese looks a bit like another well known brand over here but I can't work out which one. :-(

Thanks for the link. I cant make it in as have full on revision day today but was able to text hubby with a list of what to get.
LOL indeed Fen, I can't work out what the difference will be - less caffeine in the 5 o'clock tea? I've plummeted for the "English tea" hope it's even half decent.....
