Would my Apple Mac work ok with a euro plug and other electrical stuff?

Standard mains voltage is now the same in Hungary and the UK, 230 V/50 Hz (although it was rarely a problem before harmonization). All you need is an adapter plug, which you can buy on the Internet for as little as a couple of pounds.

For earthed appliances, make sure that you get an adapter with a functioning earth pin.

You can of course replace the plug, but then you have the same problem if you want to use your Mac in the UK again, and if I had a Mac I don't think I'd want to butcher the original power lead.

Thanks for the reply. Didn't fancy getting rid of my Mac as I use it for photography
