Where do us Brits stand for the covid-19 vaccination? Will it be free or will we have to pay? I assume those already benefiting from the Hungarian Healthcare Fund will be entitled to a free vaccination if it is free. I'm on private healthcare so not sure of my situation. I might contact my private healthcare provider to find out if I could claim the costs but I would only do so if it was very costly.
But at the end of the day will I have one or not. The jury is still out.

I am not sure who will pick up the cost but I plan to refuse the vaccine because it is being rushed into production without IMHO adequate testing. I never want to be a guinea pig so I am not voluntarily rolling up my sleeve. I will reconsider the matter after it has been out a couple years. I don't get out much, I have no plans to fly anytime soon or leave the borders of Hungary in the next 12 months so if they mandate a vaccination passport for travel it shouldn't affect me in the short term anyway.

From what I've read the vaccine shot will be free and is purely voluntary.

I shall have it because I've no desire to spend the rest of my life stuck at home, not seeing my family and too afraid to go out in case I contract the virus from another unvaccinated person.

I prefer to put my trust in scientists rather than the person standing next to me at the checkout or I sit next to on a bus.

I prefer to put my trust in my immune system ... it worked well enough the first time I had Covid so I guess it would work again !

Yes ... bully for me !! I have no problem with anyone choosing to have the vaccine, individual choice ... but not for me !

Articles like this one linked below reinforce my resolve to NOT roll up my sleeve. There have been other reports of adverse reactions and deaths because of these vaccines. I have a healthy immune system and have not had any sickness other than an ragweed allergy since moving to Hungary. I don't place my trust in the unproven science of these experimental vaccines.

It doesn't mean that people with allergies won't be able to get vaccinated, just that they shouldn't be vaccinated with the PfizerBioNtech vaccine.

It's quite possible they won't have an allergic reaction to one or more of the various vaccines now being developed..
