considering to breed dogs in Hungary?
If you are considering to breed dogs or to start an official kennel which will be registered by the FCI than we have maybe some information what can be useful
The first step is to find property in a village where the major doesn`t have a problem that you will own more than 3 dogs.
You can also buy property outside a village but it may not be bigger than 6000 m2 and this haves to be registered as residential purposes.
To find a place what is close to a forest is of course the biggest dream for every breeder.
If your dogs are registered in your home country, you have to ask your kennelclub for an export pedigree.
Before you can register your kennel and dogs by the Hungarian kennelclub you need a permission to stay in Hungary, this you can get by the local major or nearest city.
Be aware that every dog must carry a muzzle inside the village/city. Even that you see many dogs free and not muzzled will not mean that it is not forbidden
Never go to the forest when it becomes dark this because of the hunters.
And also very important is to find a vet close to you who can speak English.
In the magazine Kutya you can find show entrees papers for the dog shows in Hungary ( magazine you can find by Tesco )
I hope that this information is useful, if there are questions don`t hesitate to ask
