Learning to drive
Hello fellow expats
It may be a bit late in life (I am pushing forty) but I wish to learn to drive. I was wondering if anybody could help me with a recommended online service whereby I can take the theory exam in English?
I would be very great full for any help.
Ben

Example school with Fees:
Driving School :: Auto-ecole :: Автошкола
Worth emailing them with your particular needs/requirements, etc.

Good luck Ben .... I think you've made the right decision. You get more freedom with a car but then again it depends on your lifestyle and whether you have other people who are happy to drive. Atleast you won't be dependant on them or have to beg for a lift somwhere.

Whilst I agree with FenTiger don't forget that public transport works in Hungary and rurally most villages have a mini-bus operated by the council that will cater for shopping trips and other social transport needs. But then you have to fit in with their timetables.
On the other hand running a car here is cheaper than the UK when you look at road tax and insurance. Fuel is more expensive (relative to incomes) and my local garage charges about 12.50 GBP per hour
