They were made by a firm called Glendale. The sides are UPVC cladding like you would put on buildings and the roof is aluminium. Here's a Ford example:

This is my Toyota. It looks better in the photo than in real life. The cab looks like it was painted using a yard broom!

I didn't use it a lot but it did manage the 500 mile run to my parents place in England one time.

The strangest thing we saw whilst travelling was a converted tank! Young couple, from Germany I think but can't be sure, would have to ask hubby.

I thought your find looked like a torpedo then glanced at the title of this thread and suppository immediately sprung to mind... See what this forum does to me, suppositories, wife's ladders, my mind is being corrupted
