How many Black people actually live here in Hungary? I would venture to say less than 5000. Since being here in Hungary I have seen less than 5 and all of them were at the Budapest Airport or the immigration office. How about no statue or one that says ALL LIVES MATTER? I see more racism here in Hungary against the Gypsys than any other group. What about them? This BLM movement is NOT about racism against Blacks, this is a Marxist group trying to foment trouble where there really isn't any. Wake up people this is a leftist attempt to stir the pot.

It's politically correct irrespective of the political persuasion.

I thought I'd see the back of the BLM movement! On top of XR too!

Is Black Lives Matter a Marxist movement?

Most of these fact checkers are in fact in need of being fact checked. Racism is wrong no matter whom its victims may be. That being said respectfully, I stand by my earlier statement about BLM being Marxist. Even if it were not a Marxist driven sort of group the fact that George Soros is a financial donor to the group says a lot about what the group is about. Soros is well known for his NGO's being behind political actions all over the globe with the intent to foment revolutions and violence. ALL LIVES MATTER!

Me too! Nearly all the other Western EU countries and North and South America, engaged in black slavery, not Hungary, so I'm not sure why there needs to be protests in Hungary or a statue to draw attention to the fall out from discrimination and suffering since black slavery ended. Hungary suffered enough under Turkish and communist rule for probably roughly total two hundred years. What do Hungary get from that? On FB 'Daily News Hungary' Hungary are constantly being called a racist country. Most of those posting such statements don't live in Hungary! Plus there's the odd Brit living in Hungary and siding with the 'anti-racist' crowd! When I lived in UK I was a member of a FB group 'DUKE' (Deaf UK Europe). I was constantly attacked for supporting Hungary. I quit before I posted something which would have meant being suspended from FB.
Looking at what's happening around the world I'm at a loss why BLM can't get involved in these events, I.e. in Africa, Boko Haram kidnapping school age girls, thousands being murdered in SA and other African countries. In India some sickening stories of very young girls being raped then murdered. I could go on .... BLM seems to be turning a blind eye to these events.
At the end of the day if supporters of BLM don't like living in a country which discriminates against them they can always emigrate somewhere else. Oh no, they can't .... they've got a better lifestyle than anywhere else! So my personal opinion is they should just get on with life like the rest of us. I've, despite being profoundly deaf, made my own way in the world. Working alongside colleagues who were black, asian, gay/lesbian, who'd all gone to university, unlike myself due to family background and lack of communiccation support. And on top, getting better training and encouragement to study and enhance their careers. In addition being given priority for housing accommodation! Like one of my boarding school teachers used to say 'stop behaving like a wet cabbage'. I honestly don't know what that really means.
Above is a shortened version of what I really think and there's some bits missed out deliberately to keep this post short.

Daily News Hungary is definitely a leftist rag that hate anything that is good about Hungary and do all they can to push the leftist agenda,

The other side of that is if people are so upset by a BLM statue being put up, they can always emigrate somewhere else.

1 - What's BLM got to do with Hungary anyway? As far as I'm aware it isn't a problem in Hungary. Are you suggesting the Hungarian rendorseg go round kneeling on the necks of people who are black and shooting them dead?
2 - Roma suffer terrible discrimination in Hungary so BLM and supporters should butt out and let the Roma take priority.
3 - I'm not particularly impressed with your comments because it seems to be an attack on my views. You are a concierge on here? Correct?

Soros is only one of many donors. Microsoft, IBM, Apple, Amazon, Facebook, and Intel are amongst the many large corporations who have donated to BLM

My comment was pointing out that if it's ok to say that people who support something can leave because they support it, it's equally valid to say that people who don't support something can leave because they don't support it. Nothing more, nothing less. Your comment about my role as a BE concierge doesn't make any sense.

I'm beginning to see why Hungary has developed something of a reputation over recent years.
