Re: Brexit Celebrations
Perhaps no such flag-burning actually happened? I can't imagine that any TV outlet would have let such a spectacle pass unreported.
By the way, if you - on a public forum of strangers - boast of ditching your "friends" just because of their democratic choices, that doesn't reflect particularly well on you.

Re: Brexit Celebrations
Anyone who invites themselves for a relatively free holiday friends/family should have the manners to ask' and not assume. If congenial company family/friends, then they should be intelligent enough to realise that folk have their own opinion on anything, which is normal. If only people could agree to disagree and leave it life would be better. The way to repel is to say "no" and you can repel the chaff. My few and far friends have sometimes different opinions and vice versa, aired them, but that is nothing to do with true friendship. Truth sometimes hurts. Get rid of negative people and enjoy life ...imo.
From my perspective I have friends who moan about EU immigrants in UK. What they don't seem to realise is they are doing the jobs Brits won't do. Who else is going to do them.
I can think of a few friends who have already invited themselves before we have moved to Hungary! I'd be laying down strict rules, adapt to Hungarian culture or go home!

I think its because most comments affect people who live here in Hungary, Brexit comments spill over, if you read the posts much is talking about UK residents wanting to visit Hungary. i don't think the word "stalking" is necessary ))) after all that's your opinion and that's theirs, nough said )

Re: Brexit Celebrations
How is this relevant ?
Exactly - so why tell a bunch of strangers that you're going to ditch your friends?

Expatrick: "So why don't you post on there?"
Because I respond to statements/comments/ideas/questions in the threads where they are made. That's how online forums generally work.
Why didn't you immediately object to this very thread when it first started? In fact, you made post no. 2 - no wittering on about TIO, strange that - you simply responded to a topic. Just like I did...
Or is the only problem the simple fact that my opinion differs from yours? Funny, I thought that "tolerance" was supposed to be very near to all EU-lovers' hearts.

Re: Brexit Celebrations
Why don't you rather address or refute my criticism, rather than complaining childishly that I shouldn't be here?
