You are probably right. The Beagle also climbs chain link fences and has gotten out before at my last property back home. She is an escape artist and a very accomplished one at that. She likes to tour the neighbourhood and then will return a few hours later and bark outside the front fence wanting back in. Thankfully she has not done that since we moved here.
