Re: Back Garden Project Ideas Wanted
Dog thieves would stand no chance with our dogs. As much as Archie looks so cute as a chocolate brown sprocker he's very territorial. It would take an idiotic fool to think of stealing him! He'd crush right down to the bone anyone who touches him. He'd not let a stranger to get close to him. As to Milli, our GSD, she's still young but God forbid what she'd become if her partner, Archie, in crime, got taken from her!
Here you put a sign on the gate as wolfi said. This protects you to some extent as you have warned people.
In England you do not put a sign on the gate because that shows that you know your dog bites and so increases your liability should anything happen.

What a Beautiful dog. The loss of one of our canine friends is always heart breaking.. I know the feeling. I have 4 dogs right now 3 are more than 13 years old and I am expecting next year I may lose at least 1 dog. I have a 14 year old Beagle who is now blind and has a cancerous tumor on her side that is growing. She is not yet suffering pain but when she does I will have her PTS.

The situation here is different to that in England.
