UK bank accounts....why not?
OK, this isn't about transfers...but bank accounts (didn't know where else to post it). Apparently, living in Oz, we can't open a bank account (have one joint one with no interest, but want my own). I want to transfer some money into Sterling and preferably put in UK bank account. Failing that, should I look at offshore Sterling acccounts?
