GBP/EUR Weekly Currency Update
Hi All,
As promised here’s a brief update on what’s been happening with the Euro over the last week.
Over the past few months GBP has been fairly quiet drifting either side of the pivotal 1.1000 level. That price action looks likely to continue in the coming sessions as the currency lulls us all into a false sense of security. However history has taught us that GBP has a habit of sending the market to sleep before erupting resulting in weeks of turmoil for the currency.
GBP/EUR Movement – High’s & Low’s of last week (28/12/09 – 01/01/10)
High’s:1.1293
Low’s: 1.1044
A movement of: 2.25%
Difference on £200k
High: 225,860 Euros
Low: 220,880 Euros
Difference of:4,980 Euros
Whilst FX isn't the most thrilling of subjects, the sooner you begin to think about your money transfers, the more likely you are to make your money go further.
