Hi Noni,

The sale agreement doesnt really come into it as im PIO (one of them!!!). The visas for OH and Kids are usually 6 month multiple entry that covers our trip out at Christmas and our second trip out at Easter......but now they will have to apply yet again for the Easter trip.:curse:

Ringing the Embassy???.....they never answer.
E-mail the Embassy???......they never answer.

Too bloody far to drive!!!!

Nice start to the weekend.

But taking a deep breath.....only 3 weeks to go......and looking forward to it!.......but i will be tightening my belt, not be as liberal with the Rs and be a little bit more cautious and a lot less gullible!!!.....dont get me wrong i intend to be my happy go lucky self.....just a lot more guarded and a lot less sympathetic! I confess i have always been a real soft touch but when i see whats really going on out there im changing!!!

Regards,
Remy

Actually because we applied in Dublin and had UK passports they charged us 63 Euro each (13 euro each more because we did'nt have a Irish pasport).........and for a bloody 3 month single entry bloody visa!!!

OMG at least Dick Turpin wore a mask!
Listen Goa is no longer a budget destination......they are making sure of that.

Yes Catpat when the kids are sixteen and get their 10 year passports as opposed to their five year ones then i will apply for PIO Cards......if they havent moved the goalposts again by then!!!

Regards,
Remy

Must treat you gently to-day :wub:
Next time take all the ammunition you can with you, even a gun.
I am just as mad as you about it. Anyway - be like the rest of us
and grin and bear it. You could have had all your holiday money
confiscated now that would have been a no no no 'noffi time.

Do you think they know who you are on this site

I don't know about the Shacks, don't do the beach, only on odd occasions
All the local drinks are on a par in most bars, god knows how much a shot. one of the cheapest is Bubbles 30 /-vodka ( fresh lime soda ) very busy tho, best entertaintment value is Paradise Club, Calangute I pay 70 /-. Went to Aswem, Sea View, other day my drink 65/-in a beach shack. His huts are now 800 a night they have got attached bathroom. Food very good and reasonable. Trouble is the new tourist still think its cheap. Which it is (BUT I DON'T) So I will be going to the OFFI for the NOFFI:curse:

Don't like the beach huts to stay the night - tried the ones at Sea View a few years ago, but came home after the first night. Love Aswen and
Sea View resturant, no probs there, just didn't like the huts. Not when you have a comfortable bed half an hour away. Got caught last year at
La Plage - never again, food excellent - but expensive and we left our
bags on sunbeds and were charged 100 rups each for them as well. So another no no. Have promised to take the kids to the huts () at Arambol have you stayed there! Just one night.
