Default Oh my life... visa delays

Used a 3rd party to sort the visa this worked very well a few years back, quick provided text updates on progress (after all it is your passport, an extremely important document)

Having a complete nightmare, literally beyond belief.

It really is the end of the road for going to India.

The process is nothing less than absolutely horrendous, it is not longer tenable as a winter destination. This is the last time.

Just pray you don't get a VAF stamp in your passport. We have waited 3 years without explanation despite a letter from our MP.

What is the actual problem? and what do you mean by "3rd party"? usually application for a tourist visa is quite straightforward.
