North or south
 

as some of you know i was offered an apartment in candolim, now a lady has offered me a place in varca beach in the south.
most of you seem to be going north so i was wondering if the south isn't up to much?

The South is nice a lot quiter, it depends on what you want, the area you are staying in in Candolim, has everything you will need and more.

My partner and I have been holidaying in South Goa for the past five years, we lead busy stressful lives, so for us, Sand, Sun, Sea, quiet and good food, it has it all.

The choice is yours ,the bustle and facilities of Candolim or the peace and tranquility of Varca,with lots of trips to Margao to get life's little luxuries.
The North v South debate is often a case of 'wherever I lay my hat, thats my home'i.e whichever area you arrive in first becomes your preference. Supporters of each are most vociferous in their defence of their chosen area.Just like Windows and Macintosh fans.
It is also very much like 'Shack loyalty' and 'Taxi Driver loyalty' , everyone's is the best.

If you want to stay in the north let me know because we have a lovely apartment there is a superb complex. Where ever you stay I think you will fall in love with Goa and the People.

I would say North as you have the option of leading a quiet life or getting into the middle of action. I know a couple of good developments which will be ready this Jan if it would interest you.
