Looking for name for new Off-topic section.
 

I want to create a little off-topic sub-forum for Goa (a lot of our other forums have those) for you all so that you can chit-chat etc in there, as we have got a big increase in light hearted/chit-chat threads (which is great) but some of the other threads are getting lost a bit amongst them.

Anyway, I wanted to ask you all if you had any suggestions as to what you want to call it?

For example in Australia their off-topic area is called The Barbie, in Canada it's The Maple Leaf, USA is The Trailer Park and in New Zealand it's The Sheep Dip etc etc.

So fire away, I would love to read your ideas :)

Quite an apt one for Goa would be "The Garbage Dump".Cos garbage is an ever increasing problem here!!

I think the difficulty is what is the meaning of "light hearted"?

I was going to suggest perhaps a title that would encourage more British people of Indian origin to post (It is a Goa/India forum ---- if posting they rarely stay long.) Or a non-negative title of some sort.
Quick count of recent words "turds", "Injuns", "morons", "idiots", "shithole". Doesn't encourage.:lol:

So keep it how it is and occasionally a thread on a pleasant topic may be put on.

Or as msj5 suggested, "The Garbage Dump", as it is superbly accurate?

Please, for heaven's sake don't whatever you do suggest ANYTHING positive - you know that makes sense or you'll just be set upon & mauled or at best insulted & ridiculed - you know the drill by now.
