A good Dr.

I have discovered a brilliant dr this week.

I went for a specific treatment and she has found something else that i wasn`t even aware I was suffering from but answers a lot of questions!

I`ve always steered clear of local Drs here and fortunately not needed to use one up until now!

She is very Westernised and is based in Anjuna. She is a fully qualified GP and specialises in a few other things.Check her out at www.healthyhealinggoa.com.

Most of the treatments on offer are just New Age Nonsense.Give you one example, Detoxification. Its an Oxymoron. Its impossible to detoxify the body because most of the so-called poisons lodge in fatty tissue and it takes months for it to leave the body. And i have yet to be convinced of the health benefits of having a hose pipe shoved up the tradesmen's entrance and water pumped up ! Sorry mate there are already enough biodegradable nutters already in Anjuna and this sound like one of them.Stick to a good curry and a few Kingfishers for Colonic Irritation......

This Dr is definitely not one of your typical anjuna biodegradable nutters. She is a very level headed woman. Yeh some of her treatments are a bit new age but you`ll never know if they work unless you try them.

Ugh - colonic irrigation as mentioned so graphically by PJ - sounds just gross and painful to me !!!

I did find an ace physiotherapist in Calangute though - did wonders for my stiff neck.

Dread - x

There is also a very good one in Mapusa who fixed a long term problem with my husband's right arm, shoulder and neck. Mind you, I think it would have been fixed a lot faster if she hadn't been young and cute.

You`ve obviously never had colonic irrigation! I`ll come clean! yes I`ve spent the last week having 3 of the above mentioned!(Id rather have this than go to a dentist). It is actually a very energisizing experience and when you see the "s***" that comes out that has been there for months its unbelieveable.I`ve lost 4 kgs in four days! And its found a problem that I just put down to poor diet.

I have never had it myself but a member of my family has. She had much the same results as you had.
