Goa for a holiday?
I am thinking of visiting Goa with my family for 2 weeks at the end of Oct, however after trawling the net for days, I can't find out where would be a good place. Ideally I'd want a villa near to the beach and close to things to do for 3 young children.
Hopefully someone who lives there could point me in the right direction for areas, and maybe even recommend some good accommodation? We would be travelling from Abu Dhabi where we currently live. I hope someone can help out? :fingerscrossed: |
Re: Goa for a holiday?
At this moment 25 people have looked at your question but nobody has replied. I would suggest that you move your question to another forum as people on this one have usually had enough of Goa and are not really interested.
Google holidaytruths or tripadvisor Goa sites and you will get the answer you are looking for - they will tell you to go ahead and it is the best place on this earth but not on this one. |
Re: Goa for a holiday?
For accommodation have a look on www.ownersdirect.co.uk or www.holiday-rentals.co.uk

Poppetjay, as a 'pukka' ex-pat, I think you are being extremely kind - the prices are outrageous at up to £1,500 for one week - never mind how many the place sleeps!
Hemingway How Much???!!!:eek: You can get a years rental for that. |

You can get a years rental for that. The phrase 'how much' is the preserve of Yorkshiremen only! Tht prices however are as stated - check the website for yourself, some smaller places @ £500 per week, but the larger ones are approaching £1.5k per week! Well out of my league, that's for sure! Noni
Yes they are first class but i can rent a nice flat in knigtsbridge for that. Please remember Goa has become greedy i love Goa but soon they will get what they deserve. Im sure if you wait they will have so many places the cost will be resonable. |

My grandchildren spend their time either in the pool or on the beach but not in the sea as mostly it is too rough for them. Our resort has a slide and a couple of swings! |
