Judging by your photo I reckon you must have "Danced Away"(the heartache)
providing you're not a "Jealous Guy"
"Opinions are like A...holes ! Every bodies got one ! "( "Both Ends Burning?)
Sorry the rain has got to me :curse:

Yes, a very well balanced, thought provoking magazin, with a realistic perspective.
I have registered to read it on line and will keep viewing it,and perhaps ask Sai Communications to save me a copy each week.
PS Thanks for the compliment ,it's just nice to fill the time in when you are no longer working with a bit of stimulating debate and banter.

In Goan Voice
Boost for Goan transsexuals becoming British citizens
9 Sep: The Times (UK). Balanced Migration is so called because it wants to create a rough balance between people going and people coming in…we could always permit a Big Brother type mega-vote on the BBC to follow the lottery draw, with the viewing public deciding a proportion of the winners and losers. It will certainly boost the chances of Goan transsexuals becoming British citizens….
and another one from the same source
Goa: Kids to go to school with laptops soon
10 Sep: Times of India. Kids in Goa could soon be going to school with laptops in hand with education minister Atanasio Monserrate announcing that 12,000 students will soon be given the machines costing about Rs 23,000 each. 168 words.
more details..
Perhaps they should give them desks to put them on before they give them laptops. A friends daughter goes to a school where about 5 kids share one desk.

Vasco: If charter arrivals be the yardstick, this tourist season promises to be bustling, despite doomsday prophecies because of a global economic slowdown. For, the very first charter to land in Goa will be, not in October, as was the case last season, but by this month-end itself. The first chartered Boeing 757 with over 200 passengers from Russia on board and operated by Minar Travels, an Indian company, will land on September 28, 17 days earlier than in last year. Predicting a busy season, airport director Paul Manickam confirmed that for the moment over 800 charter flights are scheduled for a Goa landing. "As of now, the (charter booking) trend shows that we will have more flights arriving than in previous years,” said Manickam.
For me this just doesn't add up - My Travel & Thomas Cook have merged as well as First Choice & Thomson flights being amalgamated, that only leaves Monarch - so there must be a massive increase in charters from other countries to cover the reduced charters from the UK.

Re: In To-day's Newspapers
In the article it says that the first in at the end of September are the Russians.
Hope they don't want to go to the beach to eat, drink and sit in the sun.
"Moreover, though charters from the United Kingdom, Germany, and the Scandinavian countries, including Denmark, Norway and Finland, will be there in strength. Russia is clearly the toast of the season.
“Almost half of the charters confirmed till date are from Russia,” says Manickam. Also expected are charters from France, Israel, Belgium, West Asia and, for the first time, Portugal".
