Police reopen Denyse Sweeney case
17 Jul: Times of India. Under pressure, the Goa police have reopened a case involving a British woman, Denyse Sweeney, who died in Goa two years ago and are re-investigated it as a case of murder… Sources said that the authorities in-charge have invited Sweeney's family to Goa for an interview. If they did not respond, the police would travel to Britain

Re: In To-day's Newspapers
A typical example of where 'experts' or those that perceive themselves to be experts, get involved at the 'sharp end' and demonstrate how little they actually know. - I once used an 'expert' designer to design a bar restaurant and she presented me with a design for a bar that had nowhere to put any glasses! Same the world over it seems.

Is there something wrong with that? Presumably it don't impair on her other duties, cleaning, cooking, ironing etc? Then I don't see a problem!

The recent assault on a girl, in India, blamed on " BOYS " aping the West. .............where it is apparently so routine, they don't report it anymore !!!!!!!!!!!!!! So reports the ToI today. If they don't report these happenings, how do they know. Even after 60+ years, we still are blamed for all that's wrong in this hole. Ah well.

She is taking a personal interest in the case.

Re: In To-day's Newspapers
She may be taking a personal interest in the case but if she did make such a statement I for one would not take her seriously. Sexual attacks have always happened in every country and culture so to blame the west and to say that attacks in the west are so routine they are no longer reported is a ridiculous statement.
