WW2 Translation

I saw this sign outside an old WW2 German bunker while out walking near Rome. Does anyone know the translation?

Thanks. I missed the S and Z. May be it was repainted by Italians. It looks good for 80years old.

Literally translated it means "Air Protection Bunker". Some of the old Gothic script letters are not so easy to spot sometimes..

Interesting article.

There is quite a big complex of tunnels. The Italian state gave the bunker to the local village to create a museum. They organise underground guided trips most weekends.
