As Australian working in IT
What kind of visa do I need so I can find a job in Germany?

Visitor is 90 days, no visa.
For employment you need to find employer first, then apply for work permit etc. But do you speak German?
Germany has a shortage of skilled tradesmen, engineers, nursing but from what I know no shortage of IT ppl.

Depends. Is your Australian passport the only one you hold or are entitled to? Do you have a spouse who holds an EU passport?

My Spouse is Australian too.. No EU passport
and I don't speak German :(

IT in Germany with no German ? That could be difficult unless you find the right niche.

You’ll need an employer before you can get a visa. If you’re under 30 you can also obtain a working holiday visa for 12 months.

Depends. If you can find a job with an employer willing to sponsor you then it’s straightforward. If your employer isn’t willing to offer you a job without you having the right to work then it’s a non-starter. At the moment it doesn’t sound like you have either.

Just consider how "easy" it would be for a German to go and work in Australia? And not to speak English. Aussie requirements are tough.
