Trying to find a friend
 

Hi I am trying to find a friend in Germany. She is German but was in the UK for over 20 years until around 2005 then we lost touch when she returned to Germany. She was in Soest but I have no idea how to find her now. If anyone can help please let me know :D

Have you tried the obvious, telephone book, facebook etc.? Do you know her DOB and full name.?

Yes I have tried Facebook, 192.com and a couple of other sites. Her name is Angelika Holtz and she is 55 years old. I know her partners name is Peter and he is also German possibly Army.

I am at a loss as to what and where to try next......?????? :confused:

Hi, in the last 6 years she might have married her Peter and taken his name, or anything could have happened. Have you tried the Soest Townhall to see whether she's on the Soest Electoral Roll?

No idea! I live in France but read the Germany forum out of interest, as my two daughters are living there.
You could google "Rathaus Soest" and then see if you can find the "Wählerverzeichnis" on the site, otherwise write to them snailmail with as much info as possible about your friend...:)
Have you posted on any regional (Nordrhein-Westfalen) forums (German and expat)?
