Train strikes in Germany?
Just wondering, a general 50 hour strike has just been announced in Germany at Deutsche Bahn.
I am a bit surprised as the strike has been announced today, Thursday, and the strike is already on Monday. In the UK there is a minimum of 7 days to announce a strike, as far as I know. Is this not the case in Germany? |
Re: Train strikes in Germany?
The UK has some of the most restrictive laws on strikes and strikers, so I am not surprised that Germany has no "seven day notice" requirement.
