Hi all,

I'm relocating to Germany in just over month. I will be looking to ship my personal belongings (list below of example items) from the UK to Germany, once I have found a permanent residence (within the first three months). Can anyone suggest/advise if they have done so, which companies they used? I do not know if shipping via a courier (UPS, DHL, FEDEX) or using a relocation company would be best. As I am only shipping smaller items;

• Household appliances
• Cutlery & crockery
• Clothing & footwear
• Books
• Vase & paintings.

I'm not sure whether a relocation service is fully worth the price. I am aware I will need fill in commercial invoices for each parcel, other than that I am a little lost.

Any advice anyone can offer would be appreciated.
