Registering a birth
Hello parents! How to to get a British passport for a British baby? Both parents naturalised as British citizens. Can somebody with experience please outline the process? Mutabornomine

Re: Registering a birth
Just to clarify, are you living in Germany? Was your baby born in Germany? If so, it's always useful to register births at the British Consulate before applying for a Passport.
Sorry I can't help with the process, as on-line applications didn't exist when my two were born (in France).

Providing you were naturalised before your child was born then you can simply apply for their British passport online: https://www.gov.uk/overseas-passports
If you were both naturalised then I would highly recommend consular birth registration as it may provide extremely difficult for your child to prove their British citizenship should your naturalisation certificates ever be lost: https://britishexpats.com/wiki/Briti..._Registration_
