Hello everyone,

1. just out of curiosity, is there a population register in Germany such as the one in countries like Sweden or Findland? If Yes, are the entries in that population register publicly available?
2. are civil registry such a birth/marriage/death certificate of german citizens etc publicly available or only available to filiation?
