Default Mental health nursing/jobs

Hi
My husband and I have been posted to british forces Germany in Gutersloh.
I am keen to find employment having always worked since graduation. I'm a mental health nurse and have been for 15 years and I am currently learning Germany however I am no where near what would be required for work in German hospital.

I'm looking for any opportunity to working given I don't at present speak German does anyone have advice or guidance which could help me
Thanks so much lynn

Hi, and welcome to the Forum!
Novocastrian posted this link on a recent thread:
Jobs in Germany
which may give you some ideas.
Otherwise, isn't there a Forces Hospital in Gütersloh where you might find employment, or is that a silly question?
Good luck with your search!

Try speaking to SSAFA; they used to get involved in recruiting healthcare workers from dependants in Germany.

Have fun at Gutersloh, I had a great 3 years there (albeit, in those days it was run by the RAF as opposed to today, where the Army now run it).

BAOR no longer exists; pretty much all that is left now is Gutersloh, Paderborn/Sennelager and Bielefeld. They reckon they will all be out by end 2019.
