Hi from the UK, interested in reclaiming grandfather's citizenship
Hello all,
I'm Bara and for a few years now, I've been interested in seeing if I'm eligible to reclaim my grandfather's citizenship? He was Jewish and had to leave Germany in 1938.
If anyone has ever done this, I'd love to hear about your experience.

I’ve not done it myself but I know those who have. It’s a relatively straightforward process with the added bonus of you not being required to give up your current citizenship(s) which is usually the case when you naturalise as a German citizen.

Maybe contact the German embassy. They should be able to provide you with more information about the process.
