Shipping to USA from UK
Hi all, I am new to not only this forum, but all forums, so please be gentle. In the next 4-6 months I will be moving to USA on a permanent basis. I will not be taking a huge amount of cargo with me, but neither do I just want to take a carryon onto my flight. What I am looking for is advice on costings, weights, and shipping. In all honesty, I don't think my belongings would amount to much more than 100kg's. TIA.

they will then be able to freight in a shared load container to the US, where the goods will clear and then deliver to your front door. Air shipment would also be possible, though more costly. They will be able to supply you with the correct US Customs forms to complete, estimated transit times and door to door costs. You would be best to look for Removalists who are BAR (British Association of Removers) and FIDI members, as these bodies help to ensure standards. Avoid putting alcohol or foodstuffs into your shipment, as these can cause issues. |

Most Removal companies will be able to offer a baggage service, either supplying you the cartons to self pack, or packing for you if you prefer,
