Shipping a car to the USA or buying new?
As well as which of your household goods to ship, one other thing you might really want to give some thought to is whether or not you want to ship your car to the USA with you.
It's a good idea to start by weighing up your options.
Every case is different, like moving household goods what is best for one customer might be completely different for another, so once you've got all the facts you'll be able to make your own educated decision.

- research if you CAN legally import your make/model of vehicle and if you meet the criteria to be allowed to import
- get a quote for shipping, include costs to legally import and get the car on the road (this can sometimes be done in a container with your household goods)
- get an idea of cost to buy when you get there
- work out how much you could sell your car in the UK for before you go

The answer is easy: if your car is not 25 years old or more, forget it!
