just came across this website. Looks like it has some useful information - and the best thing is it's in English

That's a really good website, there aren't many websites translated into other languages. I've only seen a few others, such as this one about living in France http://www.justlanded.com/english/France and this one on renting in France. The British Council also a a load of useful information.

Hi,
The service publique website is good if you are able to navigate to what your are looking for. Often you can be redirected to sites in French so a good base level in French can be required to decify the info. As mentioned in my previous post the IFP guides are a good comprehensive info site for living in France. Often google works well so try searching and see what comes up
