Can anyone tell me (and any useful web links please) travel times and cost of train from Paris CDG to Lamballe? Is transferring air to rail station easy with heavy luggage?

Or would it be easier and faster to fly from Paris to Rennes, then train to Lamballe? I'd prefer to avoid the hassle of further flying after a long international flight, but if it's better I'll consider it.

Just been checking. Definitely looks like flight into CDG then to Rennes is best. Any disagree?

Hi, according to the SNCF-Voyages site, there's a direct TGV from CdG to Rennes, then a TER to Lamballe, taking just over 4 hours in all. The downside being the hassle at the airport to get you and your luggage from Arrivals to the TGV station (different levels, as far as I remember). Also the stress if your flight is late and you miss your TGV and have to book a seat for the following.... You know that you must reserve a seat in advance? The same site will give you the price, depending on how far ahead you book, the date, time, etc....
It seems simpler to fly from CdG to Rennes, and according to the Airport site, there's a public Bus Stop 300 m from the Airport, which takes you to the Centre of Rennes, but not to the SNCF. Taking a taxi from the Airport to the SNCF would be the best solution.
