Default "Trading as" and french law

Having registered as a micro I am now working on putting up a website. I assume that all my official dealings are in my own name but I would like my online presence to be with a different website name . I don't know of any issues with that in Uk provided that it is made clear on all documentation. I had the novel thought that things might be different in France ( I know ! As if ). So the question is ,are there any regulaions here that might prevent me from proceeding as I wish ?
Thanks

Your bank account has to be in your own personal name, so your invoices have to be issued in your name, although AFAIK there's nothing to stop you putting a trading name on them as well. Anyone checking your siret will need to know your personal name to find it.
I had the same issue - in the UK I used to have a "trading name" and at first I carried on using it in France, but it's kind of fallen by the wayside because it seemed a bit irrelevant, and turned into more of a confusion and a nuisance. But, my line of work doesn't need one in any case.

Of course you can do it.
My friend's website is a good example (I picked her's because she's just had it re-done, meeting all the requirements and it's in english and french. GREENFROG – Architecte-paysagiste Toulouse – Conception de jardins – Architecte-paysagiste toulouse). She is micro-entreprise so her name and address is on every page and right at the bottom is the name of the person who did the website.

This link tells you what you should have on the website... known as "mentions legales"
https://www.service-public.fr/profes...sdroits/F31228

If you aren't selling anything then the bit right at the bottom is the relevant part for you. "dans le cas d'un site non commercial ou d'un blog d'un particulier, les mentions légales doivent indiquer les nom, prénom, adresse et numéro de téléphone du créateur du site et de l'hébergeur."

OMG I've just looked at Greenfrog and guess what I want to specialise in ? Garden furniture! I've had years of wardrobes and kitchens and now I want to get creative outdoors.
Hmm, I see a little connect beckoning.
