Happy New Year! Well at least it is where I am!

Majoritaire simply means that you hold more than 50% of the equity. Minoritaire means you hold 50% or less.

A gerant majoritaire is deemed to have absolute control over a company's business and therefore, by extension, the company becomes his/her personal affair. Bernard Tapie can probably explain it more fully
